Our History & Timeline
1962
HAS Rice Pakistan was founded by Mr. Haroon Abdul Sattar, initially focusing on the trade of spices in the local market. With a keen entrepreneurial spirit, the company expanded its sourcing globally, importing spices from regions such as Zanzibar, Guatemala, Vietnam, China, Tanzania, and Indonesia. These early years laid the foundation for the company’s long-standing expertise in global trade.
2004
Building on decades of trading experience, HAS Rice Pakistan expanded into rice processing and export, marking a new chapter in the company’s growth. With a vision to deliver the highest quality rice to international markets, we began supplying non-basmati rice, tailored to the needs of our clients in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Somalia, and beyond.
